Marvel presents Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
As part of the so-called Phase IV of Marvel and that reaches titles to present from this year until 2021, Comic-Con San Diego 2019 was the stage where representatives of Marvel Studios presented the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ( Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ), a daring bet to gain a little more access to the Chinese market.
Shang-Chi is one of the most relevant Asian characters in Comics, in fact he was the first to have a magazine. The villains of Iron Man 1 could return
The fans have been very interested in this Marvel bet, just with the name we know that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings could somehow be linked to the criminal organization that kidnaps Iron Man (Tony Stark) in the first delivery of the man of steel. Whether the organization appears or its beginnings are referred to, it is something interesting that is outlined as possible in the plot.
On the other hand, we have the villain of the Shang-Chi Comics known as The Mandarin, who displays a set of magical powers obtained thanks to having in his possession Ten objects of power, sometimes referred to as The Ten Rings.
In the Comics, the character of Shang-Chi found that one of the worst criminals in history was his father, a similar twist in the film is not ruled out either.
For now, it has been revealed that the role of Shang-Chi will be played by Simu Liu, an actor with experience in some action films and prepared to take on what could be the beginning of several films with the history of Shang-Chi, at the Being a hero with his own comic strip, future installments of the film cannot be ruled out, there are enemies and stories to develop a lot.
In the film, the character of The Mandarin has a lot of weight, not only as a counterpart to Shang-Chi, but also because he is one of those villains with secrets, magical objects and who always knows some stories about the hero's past, secret places that make it more interesting for fans. For this role a name has already been revealed: actor Tony Leung will be The Mandarin in the film of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
When is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings released?
At the time of its presentation at Comic-Con San Diego, Marvel has made it clear that the film will be released in 2021, as part of a multi-film plan, some old movies brought back with new casts and other surprises that make up Phase IV of Marvel Studios.
