25 years of the attack on the AMIA
Over the years, the terrible attack that claimed the lives and dreams of 85 people who were in the place continues without forgetting. On a day like today , July 18, 1994, at 9:53 in the morning, the building where the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA) was located on Pasteur Street 633 in the Once neighborhood, exploded by a bomb.
A bomb was detonated at the scene, killing everything in its path, both AMIA employees, as well as neighbors, passers-by and visitors. The terrorist attack claimed the lives of 85 people and left more than 300 injured who were in the area.
Today we want to pay tribute to the people who were victims of the terrorist attack that took their lives, leaving their dreams and that of their families unfinished.
It is incomprehensible even how human beings without heart or scruples attempt and take the lives of people who have nothing to do with their conflicts. Innocent lives, truncated dreams, families shattered by reasons of people who do not repair the damage that their perverse harmful ideas can cause.
Year after year, family and friends of the victims gather at the scene to pay a tribute to their loved ones.
