79-year-old woman goes to prison for feeding street cats
Yes, as it seems to them that the woman had already received several calls for attention because she lives in a town where it is forbidden to give food to street animals.
The woman identified as Nancy Segula, received a 10-day sentence in jail for failing to comply with the due calls for attention that had already been made to her in advance.
Apparently, this law is enforced by the residents of Garfield Heights where feeding stray dogs and cats is prohibited. The 79-year-old woman assured that it is a very severe sentence for her charity with the animals. I report FOX 8.
Nancy's son, Dave Pawlowski shows great concern about the sentence received from his mother, saying that how is it possible for a 79-year-old woman to enter a prison where there are so many people who have done very bad things.
"And are they going to let my 79-year-old mother go there?" Her son said.
The admission to the penitentiary will be on August 11, according to what the woman has been feeding the cats for two years and received a warning the first year that she started feeding them, in total there were 4 calls for attention that were made, but that she did not comply, and because of this she had to be taken to court.
