Benedict Cumberbatch looks forward to welcoming Ukrainian refugees into his home

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who was nominated for Best Leading Actor at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) for his performance in the feature film 'The Power of the Dog', has been closely following the situation in Ukraine.
In the presentation of the red carpet, he used a pin of the Ukrainian flag, as he seeks to lend support and draw the attention of people so that they also follow the news of what is currently being experienced in that country.
Speaking to Sky News, the actor assured that Ukrainian brothers and sisters are suffering. Therefore, this is a shocking moment in the lives of Europeans, since they are only two and a half hours away from Ukraine.
He assured that he is willing to do whatever was necessary to support the Ukrainians after Russia invaded them. Since then, he has closely followed all the solidarity initiatives, which have been carried out during the first weeks.
One of the most striking is that he hopes to participate, along with his wife Sophie Hunter, in opening the doors of his home to some of the refugees who have managed to escape the situation the country is going through.
He also stated that everyone should do what is within their power. As have all the volunteers who are welcoming refugees into their homes.
