Biden and Putin hold new telephone meeting amid the height of the crisis in Ukraine
The president of the United States, Joe Biden, assured Putin that diplomatic channels are still open, but that they are prepared for any scenario
As the tension on the Ukrainian border grows, the leaders spoke between warnings, and increasingly urgent demands, to avoid what appears to be an imminent armed conflict.
Through the telephone meeting, Joe Biden assured Putin that the United States is keeping the diplomatic channel open, but that it is also in full coordination with its allies to face all scenarios.

Russian denials
