Video of the Anaconda recorded in the Formoso river

The agency in charge of publishing the video was Newsflare, where it shows a large anaconda that was followed by divers for a while. The images were recorded very close to the bottom of the river.

The filming was made by Bartolomeo Bove and Juca Ygarape, who are reptile hunters, but not for their commercialization, but for their conservation. Divers had been trying to locate an anaconda of this size for several days, and recently they did so in the Formoso River.

The rivers and bodies of water around the Bonito area are the only places in South America where anacondas can be found in crystal clear waters, and therefore it is possible to dive with them. The anaconda's behavior debunks the myth that it is an aggressive and violent creature, Bove said.

The anaconda is a reptile of which there are discussions about its dangerousness. In social networks, events where these animals have been killed have been discussed, and it is shown how people defend these animals.

In some cases they have been considered endangered animals. Now, with the constant fires in the Amazon, a large population of animals is believed to have been lost in this environmental tragedy.
