Today the biggest video game event, the Fortnite World Cup, has ended. In this way, we saw the greatest Fortnite players compete among themselves to win the biggest prizes that the organizers of this very special tournament for the gamer community would be awarding.

The Fortnite World Cup was held at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, United States. It began on July 26 and ended today, July 28. In this way, the greatest players from around the world came together, individually or in groups, to win the jackpot of this very special event.

This event was preceded by a world competition, which began on April 13 of this year. In this way, all Fortnite players had to compete, among themselves, in duo or solo modes to be able to advance in the ranking lists and be able to reach the long-awaited Fortnite World Cup.

In total, Epic Games would be awarding 40 million dollars between the various places offered by this world tournament. Therefore, although the first places were those that would award the highest possible prize, 3 million dollars, those who have qualified in the main positions would also be receiving a consolation prize.

Nyhrox and Aqua, members of Cooler Esport, took first place in the duo mode, after achieving a total of 51 points in the results table. This would only represent a difference of 4 points against the second place, made up of Rojo and Wolfiez.

In this way, Norway and the Netherlands would be victorious as the countries with the best Fortnite players in duo games. In addition, both nations would be taking home the first trophy of this modality awarded through the Fortnite World Cup.

16-year-old American player Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf was today crowned the undisputed winner of the Fortnite World Cup solo. In this way, he would be becoming the first winner of this tournament that promises to bring many more world cups during the following years.

Bugha turned out to be the undisputed winner of the solo modality of this tournament, crowning himself with a total of 9 kills and 59 points. The second place on the list, who was taken by Psalm, would have fallen short with only 33 points achieved during the tournament held today.
