After another meeting of the Defense Council, chaired by Macron and with the presence of the high officials in charge of European security, a spokesman for the French government issued statements.

The spokesman assured that France has requested an unconditional ceasefire, noting that given the war in Ukraine, Paris decided to send humanitarian and defense support.

In the morning hours, the humanitarian shipment from France, consisting of more than 40 tons of medical supplies to treat approximately 500 seriously injured, had already been leaked.

Also, from Paris, they are preparing for the next shipment of humanitarian supplies. Several cities in France, such as Nancy, Lille, Saint-Etienne and Lyon, offered to give shelter to Ukrainians displaced by the war.

French presidential candidate Fabien Roussel has called on French city leaders to unite in a nationwide campaign to lend support to Ukrainians.

He assured that it is time to receive with open arms the Ukrainian citizens who are fleeing their country thanks to the invading army.

Joe Biden defends the sanctioning policy

The US president, Joe Biden, defended the sanctioning measures against the Kremlin for its attack on Ukraine, since he assures that military measures would lead to a "Third World War".

Likewise, he assured that the world has only two options, declare war on Russia or make sure that the country that transgresses international law pays the consequences.

During his speech, Biden pointed out that one of the main strategic missions of the United States is to maintain a solid unity in NATO during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, something that he assured is being fulfilled.

Contrary to the wishes of Putin, who according to Biden intends to divide the democratic world, NATO and the European Union "are on the same page."

For the United States, Putin's intention to split the Alliance is about creating a path for him to continue with his expansionist plans.

Joe Biden highlighted the "high price" that the Kremlin will pay for its invasion of Ukraine, which will affect Russia in the short and long term " but above all in the long term."

On the other hand, an anonymous official from the White House assured that the Kremlin has deployed to the interior of Ukraine more than half of the soldiers that it had agglomerated on the border a few weeks ago and that there are signs of frustration in the Russian high command for the resistance of the Ukrainian army.

The foreign ministers of the European Union will hold a meeting on Sunday to discuss military support for Ukraine during the Russian invasion of which it is a victim.

As announced by Josep Borrell, High Representative for Foreign Policy of the European Union, the meeting would be by videoconference and will take place at 6:00 p.m. with the aim of achieving more ways of supporting Ukraine.

On the other hand, Borrell communicated in the morning with the foreign ministers of Georgia and Moldova, whom he assured that they are committed to defending the eastern region against the Russian military escalation in Ukraine.

In this context, Margarita Robles, Minister of Defense of the European Union, declared this Saturday that the organization will adopt "more rigorous" measures against Russia for the war unleashed by Putin in Ukraine.

Robles assured that everything possible is being done to stop "the madness" that Russia has unleashed on Ukrainian territory.

Given the violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and international law, the minister has assured that Putin's impunity cannot be admissible.
