Greta Thunberg receives the 2019 Freedom Award for her fight against climate change
The young Swedish woman has stood out in the fight in defense of the environment since she was a child thanks to forceful speeches in different spaces, today at 16, Greta is already an emblem of the global fight to protect the planet from the effects of pollution, as well as constantly clarifies the relationship between climate change and serious problems such as hunger in the world.
Apart from the award in its first edition that has been given to her, the girl receives 25,000 euros in cash that, faithful to her cause, decided to donate to four environmental organizations. The jury was debating dozens of proposals from organizations and activists from different parts of the world, reaching a consensus in the end on the merits of Greta Thuberg to win the 2019 Freedom Award.

Their participation before the legislative body will be at the invitation of 162 deputies belonging to organizations that fight in defense of the environment. The award was awarded to him in France, specifically in Caen, where he arrived by train.
"The relationship between the climatic emergency, mass migration and hunger is not clear to everyone. That has to change (...) seven million people die every year from diseases linked to air pollution," so Greta Thunberg expressed in short statements she gave at the time of receiving the award.
