Hurricane Barry hits Louisiana in the United States
The now Hurricane Barry arrives with sustained winds of 120 kilometers in Louisiana. In the next few hours it will reach west of Morgan City, where heavy rains and storm surge may cause flooding.
According to information agencies and the National Hurricane Center, tropical storm Barry is now a category 1 hurricane on the Saffir/Simpson scale, which requires raising alerts due to strong tidal waves.
