Mariúpol resists the Russian Ultimatum
Today the time granted by Russia to the city of Mariupol to surrender completely has expired. The President of Ukraine affirms that they will not give up.
The time that Russia would have designated for the inhabitants of the city of Mariúpol (the army and authorities) to surrender to surrender has ended, this in order to have absolute control of the city.
Despite having completely besieged the territory, fighting continues continuously. The city is completely destroyed and the number of deaths rises every day.
Russia had established an ultimatum in order to see the surrender of the city, however, despite the consequences that may come, the army in Mariupol affirms that they will not give in to surrender.
Ukraine declared no surrender of any kind
In this way, the Russian ultimatum is directly rejected. The statement was released by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereschuk.
“There can be no talk of surrender of any kind, of laying down arms. We have already informed the Russians.” Irina Vereschuk.
Certainly, I urge to create the possibility of generating a humanitarian corridor for the civilian population of the city, however, this is something that has not been answered by the Russians.
What will happen to the city of Mariupol in the face of the Russian ultimatum?
Russian retaliation will be bloodier and colder than we have already seen. Experts assure that it is a decision that will bring with it greater bloodshed and even the end of the city.

Mariupol at risk of being wiped off the map

Russia urges the world that the destruction of Mariupol is because of the Ukrainian army
The Russian defense ministry declared that the Ukrainian authorities are solely responsible for the almost complete devastation of Mariupol and the rest of its cities, due to not accepting the surrender on time.
They determined the rest of the losses of human lives that occur will fall under their responsibility. This is quite a cold decree, knowing that the upcoming Russian attack on Mariupol will be imminent.
