Massacre in Colombia

Maria Elsy Carabalí, her husband Harbey Gomez and their 19-year-old son, José David Gómez, were the victims of the event. Also, a ten-year-old girl was injured. Recently in that municipality, a minor and two indigenous people were murdered.

Diego Armando Carabalí, Secretary of Government of the municipality, reported that he received the report by the public force at dawn, the information on the murdered family. In this way, the notification was of the death of three people, a man, along with his wife and son.

The attack has been condemned by the Ombudsman's Office, said body published on its Twitter account that it is unacceptable that Cauca continues to be a territory of violence by illegal armed groups.

They also asked the authorities to intensify the measures and guarantee security and human rights to citizens.

Another attack in Cali, Colombia

After a grenade explosion in Cali, four people were injured.

Carlos Soler, Secretary of Security and Justice, reported that a person got off a motorcycle at approximately 6:10 p.m. and immediately threw a grenade at a Mobile Anti-riot Squad (ESMAD) personnel, to try to avoid the blockade.

A complaint has been made by the Institute of Studies for Peace of Colombia (INDEPAZ), since in the last four days five sacred centers of the Wiwa and Kankuamo indigenous people of Sierra Nevada have been set on fire.

This fact happened with the purpose of keeping the indigenous people silent in the face of complaints against illegal misery and social complaints.

The indigenous have made constant complaints in recent months, as they receive threats against their leaders and the appearance of pamphlets by the paramilitary groups Águilas Negras and the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC).
