New accident at the Chapultepec Fair
Accidents happen but some can be serious and cause pain for many people, especially if the reason is due to irregularities. On September 28, it was learned of an accident in the amusement park better known as "La Feria de Chapultepec" that left two dead men and two injured women.
The irregularities of La Feria de Chapultepec
The park is located within Mexico City and until last month it had given joy and fun to many people. The accident that cost the lives of two people and seriously injured two more happened when the last cart in the game called "The Chimera" fell off. At that moment everything changed for this amusement park that turned into terror.
Fortunately, the two women who were in intensive care after the accident have already come out of that state and are continuing their recovery. The company in charge of the fair informed that they will make sure that the girls receive the necessary attention so that they can return home.
However, the company in charge of "La Feria de Chapultepec" takes hold of a thread because several more irregularities have been found, such as the death of a minor. According to the PGJ investigation, the boy was only 17 years old and was an employee of "La Feria de Chapultepec." The minor died preventing a girl from getting hurt for which he sacrificed his life.
The causes of this accident that occurred in December 2018 are not yet clear, but it is known according to the file and statements of employees, that one of the cars of the game that was operating hit the body of the same, pressing it against another structure. Reason why he was transferred to the hospital where he died.
In addition to this accident, which was kept hidden, there were already two more accidents registered in the past, however none had been injured, so according to the PGJ the revocation of the concession is contemplated.
