Patricia Ortega: First female general of the Spanish Armed Forces

Jesús Tremont
2 min read

Starting tomorrow, Patricia Ortega will be a general of the Spanish Armed Forces, thus becoming the first woman to hold this position.

Defense Minister Margarita Robles would have been the person who suggested promoting Ortega, who today, July 11, is a colonel. There is a course to promote to general, which they say is necessary and practically essential to reach that rank. Ortega approved the supposed course last March and now, several months later, she will be promoted to the position. Until now, all those promoted had been men and, furthermore, very few, since only 1 in 3 candidates were promoted.

Ortega was born in Madrid in 1963 and joined the army in mid-1988 along with other women, being the first to enter the Spanish army since it was the first promotion to accept the female sex.

The Madrilenian rose one post after another and reached the rank of lieutenant colonel, thus becoming the first woman to reach that rank, a record that she will break once again tomorrow when she is appointed general.

This is undoubtedly very good news for feminism, and we are not referring to modern feminism, which, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired. I think that this kind of thing needs to happen, even though I also think that enough is already being done so that women don't feel inferior.

It is evident that there is a greater number of men in this type of job, and that the balance does not tip so much, it is perfect. We will have to see how she performs, being the first woman to obtain this position, she will not be able to take examples from others, she will be the example that many follows and that is a great responsibility, congratulations to her.

QUICK HACKING ENTITY

My wife was always leaving the house late at night, and I was worried about what she was doing. I started calling detectives, but I kept getting scammed and almost gave up until I found a good private investigator (WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY/HACKING AGENCY) who did a good job of supplying the evidence I needed from her phone, which includes whatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other apps. I then filed for divorce using the evidence I had obtained. He also proceeded to retrieve a portion of the money I had provided to the other fictitious investigators; all the money I had spent on these assignments had been worthwhile.
