On Monday, an unexpected political and institutional crisis was announced in Peru.

It all started because the president of the country of the Incas constitutionally resolved the Congress of this nation and called elections for next year. The reason for this is that a process for the appointment of judges that was not very transparent had been observed and that it left a lot to say.

A part of Congress did not agree with the decision; and arbitrarily, moving away from the laws, they have made the decision to suspend the president, swearing in as president in charge of the president.

In favor or oppossing?

This political and institutional crisis in Peru has made people take to the streets in support of the president.

Since abuses of trust and power have been reported regarding the exercise of congressmen to legislate their country.

Likewise, the president has the support of the national guard; who have not yet commented on the matter.

Respect for the law

The act of contempt and rebellion carried out by the parliamentarians who, in addition is outside the law, shows how they use the laws at their whim and convenience.

Which has triggered this political and institutional crisis in Peru.

What happens in Peru?

The majority in congress represent the Fujimori party, and it was the turning point that has been observed since the general elections held in 2016.

The current president, after the removal of Kuczynski, has been a promoter of various reforms to tackle corruption.

But the Congress totally denied these proposals, has sabotaged in different ways the reforms that they want to promote in this regard.

Of course this did not please the congressmen; since the place where they legislate is known for the seas of corruption that are navigated inside.
