President Joe Biden comes out of isolation
The latest information that was released regarding the health status of President Joe Biden is that he tested negative for the last COVID-19 test, and will be able to leave the isolation he had for five days. This information was released by the White House.
As a security measure, Biden will wear the masks at public events. Before lifting the isolation, the president's symptoms had already disappeared, and two COVID-19 tests were carried out, one on Tuesday night, and another this Wednesday morning.
This was mentioned by the White House doctor, Kevin O'Connor, in a letter. The president had tested positive for covid since July 21, in a routine test that was carried out after noticing the symptoms that developed such as cough, sore throat, and runny nose.
In the treatments, the president began taking the antiviral Paxlovid, a 5-day treatment, which caused the symptoms to improve during that period. Biden, 79, is fully vaccinated and received two doses of the booster.
