She created 30 false profiles on Instagram to say that her ex-partner harassed her

Courtney Ireland-Ainsworth, a DHL employee, was sentenced in the UK to 10 months in prison after being charged with making more than 30 fake Instagram posts to blame her ex for harassing her.

The Liverpool Echo newspaper was in charge of presenting the fact this week.

Courtney claimed when she was 19 years old that her ex, Louis Jolly, threatened to stab her, and assured the police that the young man broke objects in her house. He stated that he had placed a block on the window of his grandmother's house and even threatened to kill her.

With such allegations, the young woman was imposed on the capture of her ex on multiple occasions and spent no less than 81 hours before the police authority.

The litigant was released on bail for a considerable time, in December 2020. However, he had a home curfew.

At that time, the police mentioned the young woman's information to review these Facebook and Instagram accounts. The specialists verified that 17 records had been made from the young woman's IP address, which were associated with her mobile phone and the internet connection of her home.

After proving that it was simply the young woman who made a real death trap on Instagram, the decision was made to sentence her to 10 months in prison, although her sentence was reduced due to mental problems.

At the time the young woman was on the stand, Judge Ian Harris told her that she had made a totally invented and very believable hoax for more than five months.

Harris concluded by saying that he extends his condolences to the young Jolly's family for what they had to endure.
