Spanish prostitution network dismantled
Spanish police have arrested 6 people accused of operating a transsexual prostitution ring in Spain.
The prostitution network was managed by a transsexual of Venezuelan origin, who, taking advantage of the situation in his own country and that of the sister country, Colombia, contacted other transsexuals and offered them work.
They sweetened their minds by telling them that the working conditions were great, they bought them round-trip tickets, they promised them heaven, but it was all a farce.
They sent the victims a round trip ticket, they got them money in cash and they facilitated any paperwork. Thanks to this many fell into the trap. When the victims arrived at the meeting point somewhere in Spain, they took away the cash they had been given, took away their passport and finally told them what it was all about.
They were forced to be available 24/7 for any client and had to accommodate any wish the client wanted. They were forced to take drugs if the client so wanted.
The victims were under an overwhelming control through threats and extortion. These constant threats made the victims give in and become submissive and manipulable, this allowed the expansion of the business since, deceived, the victims contacted acquaintances in Venezuela or Colombia who were possible candidates to continue with the business.
The organization had many people working, they were all of Colombian or Venezuelan nationality, in addition, they were all transsexuals. At the time of withdrawing the money and the passport, they were told that they had a debt with the organization for the services provided (for the plane ticket and other paperwork) and that they had to pay it off. The debts were more than $10,000 euros and on top of that they had to pay their own rent, their support and even the internet ads that were published to get clients.
The newly arrived victims were kept in Madrid and Barcelona totally controlled, once they managed to break their minds and they became manipulative people, they were distributed in specific places throughout Spain. Although they were sent to distant places, the threats and extortions did not stop, they were always the order of the day, either by messages or by calls.
A complaint in 2018
A complaint by two transsexuals in 2018 was the fuse that ignited the investigation last year, but it was not until now that they managed to find the people who led the organization.
The prostitution network was not managed by novices, they were very careful with everything and were always on the lookout for their victims. The leader of the gang is a transsexual Venezuelan who has been living in Spain for several years.
The modus operandi was to get new victims by threatening people who already worked with them. Once they gathered a considerable group of people, they put together a supposed "tourist trip" through Spain. They bought landscapes from them back and forth, they gave them cash, they booked hotels, they did travel insurance and everything necessary to justify the trips.
The money that was sent to these new victims through exchange houses was sent by the victims who already worked in the organization and not by the leaders so that there would not be any type of evidence that could compromise them.
Macabre, right? To be one of those people who fled his country because of the serious situation he finds himself in and knowing how difficult it is, to do this to your own brothers from the country. Regrettable.
