He also asserted that the Sudanese government is undergoing a coup, and that troops mercilessly assault the communication studios in Khartoum, the country's capital.
It is known that what is happening with the Sudanese prime minister is because he flatly refused to provide a message of support for everything that is currently going on.
In addition to him, other ministers and many members of pro-government political parties were arrested yesterday, as was a member of the country's sovereign Council.
What is happening in Sudan?
General Abdelfatah al Burhan, who is a strong man in the Army, has decreed a state of emergency in the country, in addition to having dissolved the Sovereign Council of Sudan.
Through a statement on state television, he announced the formation of a government made up of competent people, as well as confirmed that the country will respect the international agreements previously signed.
Meanwhile, in the country they report that the telephone and Internet services stopped working in their entirety in the country's city, in addition to the fact that the airport there has been closed by the Army, as well as the entrances to the capital and its main streets.
Outside the Legislative Council
There is a right to dissolve the transitional institutions, since, the Constitutional Document of 2019 and its amendment of 2020, after a peace agreement with several rebel groups.
Given this, the Sudanese government, currently classified as overthrown, flatly demands from the competent military the immediate release of the prime minister and other officials, as well as Hamdok's wife.
And in the same way, they point out that the responsibility for the lives of the detainees, and the security of the governmental members and of the Sovereign Transitional Council, falls on the military forces.
Important data
For several weeks, the crisis in relations between the civilian authorities and the military in the country has been ongoing.
In addition to this, different concentrations of parties by the Army have consecutively demanded the resignation of the current Government.
It should also be noted that, according to information provided by the Sudan Medical Committee, during the clashes at the army headquarters in the capital, 12 seriously injured people have been reported.
Hamdok was the first to express his rejection of the military coups, since, in his opinion, these only lead the country back to totalitarianism, and as expected, the military alliances declared their position in support of the elections dictated by the village.
In conclusion to this, the Sudanese Army has declared a state of emergency, dissolved the authorities that led the democratic transition to the country, and announced the formation of a new government along with the arrest of civilian leaders.
