Diego Bialolenkier (left corner of the photo) and Nélida Puente.

The entire trial began with the statements of the anesthesiologist, Nélida Puente, who sought to free herself from all kinds of guilt, pointing out that the endoscopist, Diego Bialolinkier, carried out a malpractice on Débora Pérez, which caused her death during said endoscopy process last February 06 :

At one point during the procedure the patient moved, and her arm fell forward. That's when I realized that the belly was hard and big. Diego, look, I told him. He was looking at the duodenum, looking to see a stone. So I insisted: Diego, aspire. We were both impressed, I think he was very scared.

Puente points out that at no time was another object inserted, through the digestive tract, into Débora Pérez, except for the endoscope, for which he left Bialolinkier guilty. In addition, the anesthetist pointed out that the cause of his death could be due to a digestive hemorrhage:

At first, I thought it was an allergic reaction and asked to put her on her back, because they were doing the procedure on her side. There I realized that the left side of my lower lip and left eyelid were swollen. Then they tried to intubate her from the larynx, and when they introduced the device I realized that there was blood and that it was a digestive hemorrhage. It was swollen like a barrel.

The trial for the death of Débora Pérez Volpi n will have a total of 58 witnesses and will be carried out during all the following business days starting at 9:30 local time in Argentina. It would have started with the start of the winter judicial fair.

The judge in charge of the entire trial will be Javier Anzoátegui, who already has a request for impeachment by Pérez Volpin's family, due to "poor performance of their duties" by having delayed said case and not having treated it in an orthodox manner and as required by law.
