Tribune collapses in bullring in Colombia and leaves at least four dead
The collapse caused 4 deaths and more than 300 injuries.

The event took place in the community of El Espinal, in the department of Tolima, central Colombia. It began with the collapse of several boxes in the bullring, which caused a real tragedy, leaving four dead and hundreds injured.

In the midst of the images that were shown through social networks, the structures collapse, as they were weak, all this in the middle of a corraleja, as these popular festivals are known in the country, where people go down to the sand to face steers or small bulls.

President-elect Gustavo Petro expressed through his twitter account that a very similar event had happened in Sincelejo a few months earlier. Likewise, he stressed that he will authorize the municipalities to no longer allow these shows, with the death of people or animals.

“I hope that all the people affected by the collapse of El Espinal square can come out of their wounds unscathed,” said Gustavo Petro.
