Since the countries attached to NATO a month ago decided to increase their military capacity, Ukraine has received more than a thousand tons of weapons and war equipment.

In addition, the international community has donated 1.5 billion dollars for economic support. Since the beginning of the conflict, Ukraine has reportedly lost more than 11 billion dollars.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced the new supplies that Ukraine has after announcing the start of military maneuvers from tomorrow until February 20.

These exercises coincide with those that Russia and Belarus would be preparing on the other side of the border territory, to practice tactics against a possible attack.

The great military deployment of the three nations on the borders has worried the world's diplomats, who are currently working for a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Eastern Europe.

Kuleba stressed that Ukraine is in constant contact with the allies, and they continue to strengthen the international alliance for Ukraine's support.

He stressed that the receipt of supplies from different countries, led by the United States and the United Kingdom, strengthen their position at the dialogue table.

Currently, there is a big difference between the military capabilities of Russia and Ukraine. The Russian troops would add a total of 150,000 soldiers on the border near Donbass and an additional 30,000 in the Belarus region.

The Ukrainian government has assured that although it is true that there are a large number of troops, they are insufficient to invade.

The deployment designed for the military exercises includes launchers, mines and anti-tank missiles, provided by the United Kingdom and the United States. In addition, they have attack drones sent by Turkey.

In the last week, Ukrainian soldiers have carried out exercises with combat vehicles, which according to the Ministry of Defense, are exercises that have been carried out regularly since 2014 in the pro-Russian territories of Lugansk and Donetsk.

Kuleba assured that his current intention is to convince Germany to donate more weapons to them, an issue that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has already discussed with United States President Joe Biden.

Olaf detailed in the meeting with Biden that the shipment of weapons from his country to another must go through a legal and evaluation process, where if it is determined that it is a zone of conflict regions, it is prohibited.

The Ukrainian minister requested this Tuesday, during the visit of his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock, that the Foreign Ministry increase military support and facilitate the process of sending German weapons, through third parties that need authorization from Germany.

Currently, Ukraine has received hundreds of thousands of small arms and assault rifles, in addition to heavy artillery, missiles and tactical combat equipment.

On the other hand, hundreds of US soldiers arrived in Romania on Tuesday as a reinforcement measure for the NATO contingent in Eastern Europe.

Within the next few days, Washington expects to move new troops to make up the thousand soldiers.

On Sunday, in Poland, another unit of soldiers arrived in support of NATO in the eastern region. The United States has confirmed that it wants to deploy 3,000 troops in response to the Russian deployment on the Ukrainian border.
