Amber does not renew contract with SM Entertainment and that company cancels f (x) 10th anniversary
On September 1, f (x) member Amber had decided to announce on her social networks that she would not be renewing her contract with the SM Entertainment agency after having been there for more than 10 years. Thus, the idol has decided to start a new chapter in her life as an artist seeking new commitments and opportunities with other types of companies.
In this way, Amber would have decided to make a drastic change in her music career by deciding not to renew with SM Entertainment. Due to this, there are a variety of rumors that indicate that the artist was not satisfied with the treatment received by this company. Still, Amber hasn't revealed any details about this entire case.
SM Entertainment denies canceling f (x) 10th anniversary celebration to fans
The famous f (x) fan website, called fx-oxygen, reportedly announced recently that SM Entertainment had banned the publication of a series of announcements referring to a celebration that would be taking place to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the famous girl band, f (x).
The entire event would be held at the COEX Mall in Seoul in South Korea. It would have a corridor full of columns with images of each member of f (x) and with a variety of relevant anecdotes about said grouping. Even so, SM Entertainment would have banned the celebration of what would be the 10th anniversary of this girl band.
A representative of SM Entertainment had to give a statement, noting that they had not canceled the event:
It is not true that the agency required the f (x) ads to be removed. The agency was not even contacted by the company in charge of the ads requesting approval.
Despite all this, f (x) fans and some people in the K-pop community have found themselves enraged after this whole case, pointing out that SM Entertainment does not want to celebrate the anniversary of said girl band due to all the scandals that have had because of various accusations given by the members of this group.
