Demi Lovato excused absent from MTV Awards
Recovered, strong, incredibly beautiful, less than a week ago Demi Lovato's name was announced in the cast of the comedy Eurovision, along with Will Ferrel, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan and Dan Stevens.
For the new Netflix-produced film, based on the story of the popular music contest, Lovato will play Katiana, who is described as "one of the best and most angelic singers in all of Iceland".
Now Demi announced that she will also participate in the new season of Will & Grace.
Definitely, after a year of the overdose episode that almost brought her to death, she has had an excellent rehabilitation and is focused on her work, giving her acting a new opportunity.
The 27-year-old singer posted on her Instagram account on Tuesday, August 27, that she will participate in season 11 of the Emmy-winning series.
The role of Lovato in the series will be that of Jenny, a woman who enters the life of Will (Erick McCormack) by chance. It will appear in three episodes of the year 2020, as NBC affirmed to UsWeekly magazine.
"Will and Grace & Demi" is the title of her photo where she looks very comfortable on the set of the NBC comedy.
The singer has been very well-received by her peers, Debra Messing has commented in that same post that she was very happy that Demi was part of the family, referring to the cast of the hit series.
Sean Hayes, who plays Jack on the show, also posted on his social media welcoming her, referring to her as the lovely lady.
The Will & Grace series ran for eight seasons between 1999 and 2006. This remake began in 2018, and the 2020 season will be the third and final.
Enigmatic Demi, the day before the announcement, wrote an Instagram story where she said that she had something very exciting to tell, and that occupation did not allow her to attend the 2019 MTV Music Awards on Monday, August 26.
It had been speculated that she did not want to attend the awards for her confrontation with Taylor Swift, but nothing further.
Her absence from MTV is justified for an excellent reason, which obviously makes her much happier at this time, starting new jobs to continue growing as an artist.
