Fonseca will pay tribute to Vicente Fernández at his show in Mexico City
The renowned Colombian singer-songwriter has managed to build his success over the last 20 years of his career, presenting new songs, extraordinary concerts and music album releases.
A couple of days ago he stated that he will travel to Mexico City to perform a new show that will shock all his followers.
Fonseca 's next concert will be held at the ' Coloso de Reforma ', one of the best venues in Mexico City. This will be the first presentation of the Colombian artist in 2022, it will mark his return to music after a season full of unforeseen events and low profile due to the pandemic.
The last live performance Fonseca had in Mexico was for his concerts at the 'Auditorio Nacional de Ciudad de México' in mid-2019 to promote his album.
However, he will return for next March 17, 2022, he will return to the Mexican nation to appear before more than 10 thousand people.
Fonseca will dedicate melodies to the 'King of Rancheras' in his concert
The artist from Colombia stated during a statement that he will pay tribute to Vicente Fernández.
He will perform some of his most recognized songs to honor the memories of the most adored pioneer of ranchera music, Fonseca will open the show with the songs of 'El Chente' and then begin with his concert.
Recently, Fonseca attended a virtual press conference where he spoke about how important "Chente's" artistic career was for his life and the reason why he decides to honor him. In addition, he also offered interesting information about his next presentation that will take place in Mexico City.
“There is a very special tribute that I want to pay with all due respect. I have always been an admirer of ranchera music and a huge admirer of Vicente Fernández. I had the opportunity to meet him and that's why I said, I can't go through Mexico without paying tribute to him. We have something very special prepared, "said the Colombian during his interview.
'El Chente' was one of Fonseca 's favorite idols, he is a faithful follower of ranchera music and the late artist was an example for him to follow.
It is important to mention that the death of Vicente Fernández impacted thousands of people, and many artists have paid tribute to him, including: Juanes, Alejandro Fernández, Maluma and Sebastián Yatra.
Fonseca will release a new album in April
The singer-songwriter has been absent from music for several seasons, since he has suffered from various unforeseen events that had prevented him from launching a new project and new singles that he has in mind.
However, Fonseca plans to surprise all his followers with the publication of his new record album in April.
The artist of 'You are my dream' will be celebrating two decades since he started in music, therefore, he will celebrate his new milestone by releasing new melodies to please his followers. Fonseca had an interview on March 17 with the Efe agency, where he expressed his emotion and joy for his new project. In addition, he talked about what he prepares for his audience in this new stage.
“I feel very proud and fortunate that we have taken advantage of it and that we have hit it hard in these 20 years. It is a year to celebrate, the tour that we are starting at the Auditorium is going to take us to many places with a message of what Colombians are in general”, the singer told the 'Efe' agency.
