Jbalvin in his new song apologizes to his "I" from the past
In his new single 'Niño soñador' he reflects his deepest feelings
The Colombian singer JBalvin has spoken on different occasions that he is experiencing episodes of depression and anxiety.
He has even been in charge of transmitting to his fans the true need to go to a psychologist or psychiatrist, as in his case.
Despite talking about it with his fans, without any kind of taboo on his social networks, he had not done it openly in a song, until now with his new song 'Niño soñador', in which he talks about his deepest feelings.
The moment he released the song, he posted the link on his Twitter account with a message: "This is what I would tell the boy I was." On the cover you can see a picture of him, in a Superman costume.
In the video you can see a succession of certain moments of his private life, such as videos of his first presentations, a party with his friend DJ Pope and his manager Fabio Acosta, his adolescence and a photo of his son Río, born in the month of June of last year.
In addition to showing his most personal videos, he really shows his emotions and admits his depression, he feels that he will not be able to leave it behind, so he feels very tormented by this.
In one of the verses he points out that fame, the bank account, the house of one hundred thousand hectares and the millionaire life are of no use to him if he is not a happy father.
In this song, he lists certain material achievements from his music career and confirms that he knows that many people want everything he has.
To finish, JBalvin explains that although he has many material things and great achievements, it is not an impediment to suffering from depression. He would even be able to change everything he has, just so that his mother will be fine forever.
Alba Meeh Balvin, the Colombian's mother, was hospitalized for Coronavirus.
