Leonardo DiCaprio and his new diamond factory
The actor has a multi-million dollar fortune of $260 million.

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of those actors who has been able to fulfill his role as a businessman, after learning in the movie ' The Wolf of Wall Street '. After this he has been involved in some businesses, such as the Telmont champagne case.
According to GQ magazine, business and professional career has allowed him to obtain a multimillion dollar fortune of 260 million dollars. To this must be added the large art collection that it has.
The American has opted for a new adventure, in Spain, at the hands of the company of which he is a shareholder, Diamond Foundry.
DiCaprio has contributed to the installation of the new factory specialized in the creation of sustainable diamonds, in the municipality of Trujillo, specifically in Cáceres.
The reason for the selection of this location, until now, is unknown. However, it is claimed that it is due to the availability of sunlight, since in this area it is very high. In this way, diamonds need the sun's energy for their manufacture.
This will boost the unconventional sector and thus, the actor continues with his commitment to the environment.
The population of Cáceres is about 9,000 inhabitants, who are already looking forward to this project. This is because, thanks to this plan, 300 direct jobs will be created and another 700 indirect jobs.
As a result, it will allow the town an investment of 700 million dollars, a little more than 626 million euros, this being an important economic boost in the area.
The opening of this factory is estimated to be within two years, in 2024.
