Manuel Turizo makes his new collaboration with Luis Fonsi in "holidays"
Luis Fonsi recently released his new song to start the year 2022. His new song is called "Vacaciones", and he did it in collaboration with the Colombian singer Manuel Turizo.
The song is now available on all music platforms of both artists.
It is important to mention that “Vacaciones” was released together with a striking video clip that was recorded at the end of December in Yucatán, Mexico, and featured Jessy Terreno as director of the music video.
First time together
The artists Manuel Turizo and Luis Fonsi had never shared a recording studio before, this is the first collaboration they have done together.
Even though the track was recorded in record time, and they had to work fast, both artists mentioned sharing a good synergy while working.
Luis Fonsi during a virtual press conference mentioned feeling grateful for the production of the song, and mentioned that Manuel Turizo is the youngest artist he has worked with.
“Manuel is one of the youngest artists I have worked with, but, despite his young age, he is a very mature person and I consider him to be very talented and good at what he does, I think it was a great pleasure to have worked with him next to him”, mentioned Fonsi in the press conference.
During the meeting with the media, Manuel Turizo also expressed his gratitude for working with Luis Fonsi, and pointed out that it has been one of the greatest experiences.
"Working with Fonsi was brutal, it was truly one of the best experiences of my life, from the first moment in the studio everything began to flow quickly," said Manuel Turizo.
“Holidays” has become a trend on YouTube and Spotify
The song was released less than 48 hours ago and already has more than 1 million views on YouTube, a rather unusual record on the platform.
In addition, thousands of people have not stopped placing it in the states of Facebook and Instagram, since, as Manuel Turizo mentioned, "the song it is a stick, with a contagious energy destined for people of all ages".
Luis Fonsi will release his new album in 2022
The famous singer of "Despacito" mentioned a couple of weeks ago that this song is the first promotional single from his next album that will be released in mid-2022.
The artist stated that the name of his new album will be a surprise and will reveal it through his social networks on February 2.
This album will have more than 12 reggaeton, calypso and trap songs. As is customary for Fonsi, it will feature performances by special guest artists.
