The famous song by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, Old Town Road, has become the song with the most number of weeks in the number one position of the famous American Billboard Hot 100 chart. In this way, this song managed to break the records of songs like Despacito by Luis Fonsi and One Sweet Dream by Mariah Carey.

Old Town Road beats Despacito to become America's biggest hit song.

All this has been confirmed by the same Billboard magazine, which has notified that Old Town Road would be becoming the most successful song in the US, after dethroning Despacito and One Sweet Dream, which had a maximum of 16 weeks on the Hot 100. Lil Nas X's song has managed to rank at the top of this famous list for up to 17 weeks.

Despite the fact that the song was falling from various music charts and its position decline was predicted for this week, it has managed to overcome all kinds of predictions, remaining the most successful single of the year. Even so, it seems that Bad Guy by Billie Eilish would be about to overcome it the following week if the same scheme is continued.

Various media and social media users have indicated that this would be the most successful topic of Billy Ray Cyrus' career. In addition, it would have marked a great achievement to belong to an artist of African American origin and declared homosexual, as is the case of Lil Nas X.

RM (BTS) 'Seoul Town Road' Helps Lil Nas X Achieve Billboard Hot 100 Record

A few days ago, Lil Nas X released a remix of his single, which was titled "Seoul Town Road Remix ". It would have the participation of the famous BTS rapper, RM (Rap Monster). In this way, we can listen to a short and alternate version of the most successful single of the year.

Seoul Town Road can be considered a Lil Nas X bet to continue at the top of the Hot 100 and, thus, surpass the famous record held by the songs Despacito and One Sweet Dream. This strategy has hit the nail on the head, since the famous single has managed to position itself as the song with the most weeks on the Billboard list.
