Shakira fired Fernando de la Rúa, former Argentine president
The Colombian singer, who was dating her son Antonio de la Rúa for 11 years, said goodbye to former President Fernando de la Rúa with an emotional post on her social networks.
With some heartfelt words, which she accompanied by a photo in which they appear together, Shakira poured out her sorrow for the death of Fernando de la Rúa, whom she defined as a friend. Mentioning the entire family, including her children, the singer assured that the former president will be remembered "with great and profound affection" for his "humility and the tender depths of his soul." Shakira says that she admired him for his "dignity and strength", which he used both to "fight" for his life and to face "so many" others, "many of them undeserved".
