Stephanie Niznik, actress of Grey's Anatomy and Lost, passed away
American actress Stephanie Niznik, known for her participation in series such as Lost, Grey's Anatomy and CSI Miami, among others, has died at the age of 52.
The causes of his unfortunate death, which occurred on June 23, are still unknown.
Stephanie Niznik was born on May 20, 1967 in Bangor, Maine, in the United States. During her undergraduate years, she was invited to participate in the Jackson Laboratory's summer genetics research program and became fascinated with the subject.
When she began her university career, her first intention was to become a geneticist, but her love of acting was stronger, and she ended up graduating from Duke, North Carolina, with a degree in Fine Arts, with a minor in theater and Russian language. Subsequently, he completed his master's degree at the California Institute of the Arts and began landing his first roles.
The actress began her career in the mid-1990s and in a short time became one of the best-known faces on American television. One of her first continuing roles was in Vanishing Son, where she played agent Judith Phillips in 1995.
In that same year he conquered Lorenzo Lamas in the remembered series Renegade and shared with Angela Lansbury a chapter of the well-known series: Crime Reporter.
She was part of the casts of Dr. Queen, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Enterprise and, at the beginning of the new millennium, she played one of the roles for which she is best known by new generations: Carol in Grey's Anatomy.
Other roles that he later played were: Weller-Clarke in Life Is Wild; Nina Feeney in the series Everwood, created by Greg Berlanti and also starring Chris Pratt.
He also participated in hits like Lost, where he gave life to Dr. Evelyn Ariza. His last job on the small screen was, in fact, in that cult series that portrayed the life of a group of passengers who were forced to live on a mysterious island after the plane that was transporting them suffered an accident.
