Remarks by Amazon Music Vice President Ryan Redington
" Taylor Swift is a symbol that has broken streaming records on Amazon Music over time, and this season we are excited to bring this special new version of 'Christmas Tree Farm' to fans as they reunite with their loved ones for these special seasons".
The main inspiration of the theme
This theme is inspired by his childhood experience, when he had to live in a field where they planted Christmas trees in Pennsylvania; Swift voiced "Christmas Tree Farm" while celebrating the 2019 Christmas season with her family.
While fans know and love the hit, musical variant of "Christmas Tree Farm," Swift needed to catch the Christmas flair, adapting the mood for her Amazon Original tune.
The production
Accompanied by a 70-piece symphony at Abbey Road Studios, Swift's new recording highlights wind instruments, strings and signal chimes, suggesting the Christmas tunes of huge exemplary bands from earlier times.
Other Christmas adaptations of Amazon Music on its platform
Leon Bridges' reexamined adaptation of Marvin Gaye's "Purple Snowflakes", Sech's unique new tune "Christmas Letter", George Ezra's "Come on Home for Christmas" and a few more will also be on his platform starting in the month of December.
Today, Swift's "Christmas Tree Farm (Old Timey Version) (Amazon Original)" hits the global "Happy Mix" playlist, incorporating all the new Amazon Original tunes for the season, plus exemplary occasion tunes.
