Yesterday, October 8, 2019, the president of Mexico Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced that he had no problem with lending a plane of the Mexican air force for the transfer of José Jose's remains after the family's request. The remains of José José arrived today and the funeral procession left the international airport of Mexico City for Fine Arts, where they will pay tribute. Later they will go to the Historic Center and from there they will depart to the Basilica of Guadalupe, finally they will arrive at the china park to later rest the French pantheon.
Before the tribute that will be paid to one of the greats of Mexican music, the security secretary announced some precautions to take. For example, it suggested using other avenues to avoid road chaos, among which it was suggested to use Eje 5 Norte, Periférico, Eje 4 Oriente, Insurgentes, Rio San Joaquín, among others.
The tribute began at 10:00 am in the most emblematic palace in Mexico City, the Palacio de Bellas Arte s. The mass will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Basilica of Guadalupe to continue with a serenade in the China Park and continue with a private event in the French Pantheon where the prince of the song will finally rest.
