These were the award-winning artists at the 'Premios Lo Nuestro 2022' gala
The ceremony that awards the best of Latin music was presented on February 24 in Miami, Florida (United States) and granted its awards to the most outstanding artists of this season. The event was broadcast through the American television network Univision in the 34th edition of the gala.
The directors of the ceremony of the "Premios Lo Nuestro 2022" indicated that among the nominees for the best album of the year could be the most eminent success of Camilo "Mis Manos", J Balvin with "Jose", or Bad Bunny with "The last World Tour". They decided to opt for the decision of the public to choose the winners.
The prelude to the ceremony
The gala broadcast from Miami had one of the best beginnings in its entire history, with the participation of great artists who paid tribute to the king of the ranchera 'Vicente Fernández'.
Camilo, Maluma, Ángela Aguilar, Christian Nodal and Eduin Caz were in charge of opening the ceremony.
After the great tribute to 'Chente', which lasted approximately 25 minutes, Wisin and Yandel went on stage to perform their recent single 'No Me Olvidas', performing the second performance of the event in the company of a great classic.
They also offered a performance of 'Sexy movimiento' on stage with a group of dancers who complemented the most extravagant choreography of the ceremony.

Latin artists winners of the 'Premios Lo Nuestro-34 Edition'
The first category that presented the nominees for the awards was that of Remix of the year, in that category 5 songs were nominated. Among the songs were: "Travesuras remix", "911 remix", "Fiel remix", "La toxica remix" and "Ayer me llamó mi ex remix".
The song that won the award was 'Ayer me llamó mi ex remix' performed by khea. Prince Royce and Natti Natasha.
For the second category they presented the nominees for "Pop Album of the Year", in this category CNCO, Camilo, Kali Uchis, J Balvin, among others, were competing. On this occasion, the award was given to the Colombian group CNCO for their recent album Déjà vu.
After the award, they took a break and enjoyed the performance of 'El Caballero de Salsa' Gilberto Santa Rosa on stage, where he performed 'Conteo Regresivo'.
Then the category "Female Revelation Artist" was presented, which was awarded to the Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar who has had one of the best years of her career.
On the other hand, Maluma was recognized with the Global Idol award, this being his fifth award in this category of his entire career.
One of the most anticipated awards of the night was that of 'Male Revelation Artist', since great artists of the urban genre were competing for this category. Among the nominees were Blessd, Duki, Feid, Khea, El Alfa and El Fantasma. The prize was awarded to El Alfa.
The last award presented in the broadcast of the "Premios Lo Nuestro 2022" was received by Karol G in the "Song of the Year" category, the success that received the recognition was "Bichota", the artist's iconic song.
