Athletic qualified for the final of the Spanish Super Cup
This Thursday, Atlético de Madrid faced Athletic Bilbao in the other semifinal of the Spanish Super Cup, held in Saudi Arabia, where the Basques came from behind and qualified for the final.
There were few chances in the first half, and they went into the break goalless. In the second half, the colchoneros would open the scoring in the 62nd minute, when taking a corner, Joao Félix finished off with a header and when hitting the post, the rebound hits Unai Simón's back and then enters.
In the 77th minute, Yeray Álvarez would tie the game with a header that he would send into the back of the net after capitalizing on a corner.

So far, the meringues have won 11 trophies in this competition, while the rojiblancos have only three.
