Draw between Chelsea and Leicester
This Thursday they faced each other, for the pending match of day 27 of the Premier League, Chelsea and Leicester at Stamford Bridge, whose score ended with a draw at one goal.
Those led by Tuchel came out with the novelty of Lukaku as the reference in the attack. They began the confrontation with control of the ball. With the initiative facing the goal and in an attack at minute 4, from the left wing, they pass the ball to Ziyech who was at the edge of the area and he takes a left-footed shot that passes close to the post.
Two minutes later, however, Leicester opened the scoring. The play begins with a long pass from Schmeichel, which is received by Castagne and then passed to Maddison, who controlled and took a powerful shot that ended up entering the near post. 0-1 partial.
Chelsea reacted at 10' with a shot from mid-range by Chalobah, but the Danish goalkeeper ended up taking her out of the left corner of the goal. The 'Blues' kept trying, generating many chances, but lacking depth. Ziyech fired a shot in the 30th minute, but Evans deflected it for a corner.
Until at 34' Chelsea tied. The play begins with the dominance of James who reaches three quarters of the field and takes a cross into the area from the right sector that falls to Marcos Alonso and he, winning the defenders' backs, takes a shot that sends the ball to the bottom of the networks. 1-1 definitive.
With that result they would go to rest. In the second half, Chelsea went on the attack. At 61', Lukaku headed in a cross that reached the area, but the ball went wide. A minute later, Lukaku himself receives a filtered pass from the right sector and he sends a cross into the small area that Pulisic manages to finish off, but the ball also goes down the last line.
Later they would not have many clear chances and the game would end with a tie on the scoreboard. Chelsea is consolidated in third place with 71 points, three ahead of Tottenham, while Leicester is in ninth position with 49 units. Brighton follows closely with 48.
This Sunday the last day of the Premier League will take place where everything indicates that the champion could be Manchester City, which has 90 points and faces Aston Villa at the Etihad, but if it stumbles, Liverpool could snatch the crown, since it has 89 points and faces Wolves at Anfield.
