Huawei increases sales by 23% despite US sanctions
Apparently, not everything that the United States dictates is a law. During the year it became known as Washington constantly tried to attack Huawei's industry, but this only caused its sales to increase by 23.2%, which represents an extra 58 billion dollars for the Chinese giant.
However, the company's net profit rose 8.7%, exceeding all expectations created when the United States imposed sanctions against China.
Some economists believe that sales soared in various sectors for trying to help Huawei. Other sectors that do not agree with the Trump government also increased the number of purchases of Huawei technology, especially now that they promise to be the first with 5G technology.
Against this background, some economists assured that Donald Trump lifted the sanctions once he understood that against Chinese technology it was impossible to discuss, especially when the United States uses a large part of this technology for its equipment.
The United States assures that Huawei's phones are designed to spy on Americans and this information is supplied to Beijing, something that has not been proven by any investigation and of course, the Chinese company denies.
Following his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the framework of the G20 summit in Japan, Donald Trump softened his stance on Huawei and declared that he will allow US components to be sold to him.
