Honor Magic 4: the brand's new mobile line
Of the mobiles that most promise for this 2022 market are those of the Honor Magic 4 line, generating high expectations among users.
After a year 2021 full of smartphones that measured up, Honor wants to bet this time on mobile phones with great power. In some tests, the Magic 4 Pro even outperforms Samsung's latest product, the S22 Ultra.
Everything that is known about the new Honor mobiles
Soon we will know first-hand what the new Honor Smartphone would be like, which promises to enter the competition for the best high-end mobiles.
Indeed, according to leaks on the Twitter social network, it was learned that it would come in three presentations, as is common. We will then have a basic model, followed by a Plus version, and the one that would be the most powerful, the Pro-Plus.
It is also known that each one will have OLED technology screens, capable of HDR10+ resolution. In addition, a refresh rate of 120 hz, promising to be one of the most fluid and colorful phones on the market.
Size differences
However, it is normal for us to have differences between each of the models, especially in the size of each one.
For the standard version, its screen will be 6.55 inches in size, accompanied by a resolution of 2400 x 1080 px. Also, we have the touch sampling rate set to 300 hertz.
Next, the Honor Magic 4 Pro will measure 6.67 inches, with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 px.
Finally, the one that promises to dethrone the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra would be the Pro-Plus version, with a 6.78-inch screen. But, the highlight is a resolution loaded with sharpness, with at least 3200 x 1440 px, complemented by a sampling rate of 360 hertz.
Latest generation processor
The brain in charge of executing each of the functions of the Honor Magic 4 will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
The latter is the latest high-end chipset from the Qualcomm company, a leading manufacturer of processors. It should be noted that it incorporates 5G technology within its capabilities.
But, what is most striking are the leaks regarding the power of the processor inside Honor mobiles. That is, it defeats the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra by quite a distance.
Indeed, for its multicore test, the most capable mobile in the series, the Honor Magic 4 Pro, obtained a rating of 3,901 points. Unlike the S22 Ultra, which generated a score of 3,303.
For single core tests, the Magic 4 Pro continued to outperform Samsung with a score of 1,245 points. On this occasion, there would not be much difference, but the S22 Ultra would be left behind with a score of 1,215.
They turn out to be scores to take into account, considering that both have the same processor. However, everything indicates that Honor found the exact formula to get more out of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon.
Honor Magic 4: Quality camera
Through various leaks, the quality of the camera offered by Honor in this new series was also revealed.
It was learned that each of the models will feature a 50 MP wide-angle lens camera. In turn, they equip a 50 Mp ultra-wide sensor, with the possibility of offering macro photography.
On the other hand, the standard model of the series would have a sensor for the 16 MP telephoto lens. This is a difference from its brothers, which will have 50 MP for the same lens.
Likewise, they will equip a monochrome camera with a 50 MP capacity, accompanied by an 8x8 dTOF depth sensor.
This indicates that it will not only be a mobile with great working power, but that it will also be ideal for photographs.
Honor Magic 4 Pro series: release date and price
Much has been said about the new Honor series, especially about the release date. Luckily, it will be this month of February.
Indeed, the mobile series that promises to be the brand's largest to date will be presented at MWC 2022 in Barcelona. Specifically, on February 28, being one of the main dishes of the event.
Regarding the price, there is not much information. But, calculating an approximate of between 900 and 1,300 dollars would not be unreasonable given what it represents.
