AMC presents the new spin-off series of 'The Walking Dead' for 2023
The renowned series ' The Walking Dead' after more than ten years, will have the end of its history in 2022, nostalgic news for its entire community of fans who have been following the story since 2010. However, the story franchise of zombies is on the rise and has a new project.
Recently, the company AMC announced that it is working with the creator of the saga 'Robert Kirkman' for the spin-off series to be called ' Isle of the Dead '. This will be the last sequel in the series to be directed by Kirkman, with the series greenlit for 2023.
One of the most curious facts about this new production is that the main characters of the series are totally unexpected: Maggie and Negan. Both are the most controversial enemies in fiction, who are played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan.

After the story of " The Walking Dead" has its definitive end, the zombie fiction universe will continue in the new series " Isle of the Dead" that will be produced by AMC.

The Walking Dead spin-off releases its first poster
A couple of days ago, the AMC platform decided to make public the news about the next project in the zombie franchise. In addition, the announcement was accompanied by the first poster of the series, it is a provisional poster that has managed to be the center of media attention in 1 week.
Several details were revealed on the poster for ' Isle of the Dead' that hinted at the first clues to the series' plot. At first glance we can see the name of Maggie and Negan starring in the header and shows an apocalyptic environment with several zombies in a large door.
The most obvious detail that the image revealed was the setting where the events will unfold, since, next to the image, there is a sign that indicates an address in the city of New York, United States.
How many episodes will the first season have?
The person in charge of editing and writing the script for the first season of this new project will be Eli Jorné, a production veteran who has already directed several seasons of ' The Walking Dead '.
Jorné revealed during an interview that he is working on the script for the first season of the series. Stating that it will have 6 episodes that it will recreate with the help of Margan and Cohen as co-executive producers, in addition to starring in the new story.
