White House to raise sanctions against Iran
Once again, Donald Trump is a trend internationally. Recently it became known that he ordered the Treasury Department to initiate a series of economic sanctions against Iran.
Steve Mnuchin will be in charge of analyzing the actions that the United States will take against Iran. President Trump wrote on his Twitter account "I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to significantly increase the sanctions on the country of Iran." This as a result of the attacks received in Saudi Arabia, allegedly carried out by Iran through some drones.
Although the Houthi rebel forces in Yemen claimed that they were the ones who carried out the attack, the United States says that the only way to achieve it was through Iranian aid. For its part, Saudi Arabia will implement new defense systems to prevent future attacks of this magnitude, which strongly hit the international oil price.
However, in the face of constant threats from the United States to bomb Iran, those in Tehran assured that they are fully equipped to deliver a crushing military coup in the face of any enemy action.
The versions of a possible war between the United States and Iran grew when both leaders assured that they had nothing to talk to, after the international community invited dialogue.
Iran continues to enrich itself in plutonium, something that annoys the White House. Furthermore, there is remarkable evidence that Iran has all the military power to attack any soil in the United States with special bombs.
Recently, Russia sent messages of support to the United States. With the constant attacks they are making on China, Donald Trump may be underestimating the power of his rivals. For now, everything remains in a Cold War, while the international community wants a change of mandate in the next US elections.
