You can soon start watching AppleTV + on LG TVs released in 2016 and 2017
Users belonging to Apple's streaming service will now be able to start taking a step to larger screens. Everyone was surprised when LG added the AppleTV + app to its 2018 and 2019 models.
Now, after seeing the large number of users who use this platform, LG seeks to do the same with other of its models. Apparently the models that are going to be updated are those that were launched in 2016 and 2017, although an exact list of which televisions will be selected is not yet available.

Now you can watch your favorite AppleTV + series from any of your LG brand televisions. The application is in 2018 and 2019 models since the first days of October, news that was confirmed through its official Twitter account.
We do not know yet which models will receive this update, but it will certainly reach various devices. The following information can be found on the official website of LG in the United States:
“The application is available on select 2018 LG webOS 5.0 and later models. Apple TV + will launch on select 2016 and 2017 models in 2021. "
Which fully confirms that we will soon receive an update with the AppleTV + app. Application that is already available in some European countries, as well as some Nordic countries.
How would this app work on TV?
Normally, AppleTV + users must connect their different Apple devices to the TV in order to enjoy this streaming. When the app hits LG TVs, these device-to-device connections will no longer be necessary.
Directly from the television, users will be able to access their accounts within the platform to watch their favorite series. As long as your television has been one of those that were chosen to receive the update that this streaming brings with it.
Although there may be two possibilities, one of them is that the application simply arrives and is completely intuitive and adapted for TV. The other situation is that it does not have adaptations for the new device and it is a bit complicated to perform some actions.
