Dolce & Gabbana announces that they will no longer use leather for their collections
The famous brand will stop using animal skin in all its collections and will work in an ecological way.
This action taken by the Italian fashion house is in view of working towards a more sustainable future, as announced by the communication and marketing representative, Fedele Usai.
With this, they join other influential fashion brands in the world, which follow the line established by the network of animal rights groups in the world, Fur Free Alliance.
Such brands are: Armani, Prada, Gucci, Saint-Laurent, Brioni and Moncler; In addition to Italy, it has eliminated fur farms in order to join the different countries that have done the same in the last 20 years, in order not to mistreat more animals.
Even so, to maintain the full operation of its employees, Dolce & Gabbana assured through a statement that they will use synthetic leather with recycled materials, in order to maintain its essence.
