  4. Add half the egg to the bowl with the mixture, followed by the honey. Instead of honey you can add sugar, the amount would be the same.

  5. Sift the flour into the same container as the previous mixture, add the salt and stir to integrate it.

  6. Add the oil and continue stirring very well. You can substitute the oil with butter or unsalted margarine. The amount would be the same.

  7. When you have a homogeneous mixture or dough, close the container and leave the dough to rest for about 20 minutes, so that the flour particles are properly moistened.

Make the dough

Knead the dough

  1. Dump the dough on the clean and dry table, previously floured.

  2. Knead it until it blisters and stops sticking to your hands. It may take approximately 10 minutes to knead the dough depending on your kneading skills.

  3. You can also knead the dough in the mixer, it would be 5 minutes in first speed, then let the dough rest for 20 minutes and beat again for 10 more minutes in first speed.

  4. Spread a container with a small amount of oil and put the dough inside. Close the container and let the dough rise doubling.

  5. Knead the dough for 1 more minute again, trying to deflate it.

  6. Put the dough back in the bowl and let the dough rise again, doubling.

  7. Dump the dough on the table and knead it for 1 more minute to proceed to make the loaves.

Form the buns

  1. Weigh the dough and divide it into portions according to the sausages you have. That is, depending on the buns you are going to make.

  2. Make the balls with each of the pieces of the heavy dough and let them rest for about 5 minutes, covered with a kitchen cloth.

  3. With the help of a roller, stretch the balls into ovals and roll them up like a cigarette.

  4. Wrap this rolled dough around the sausage like cigarettes. Ideally, it shouldn't be too tight on the sausage. The size of the sausages can be whatever you like.

  1. Let stand until they rise almost doubling. To do this, it is best to cover the tray with a kitchen cloth.
