Marvel movies and their formula for success
There is no doubt that, in recent times, Marvel and superhero movies have occupied a large part of Hollywood billboards.
However, not all superhero adaptations are at the same level as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has set the bar too high to reach it. Your key to success is what we will discuss in the next article.
The secrets of the success of the Marvel universe
Although the UCM had a hard time getting off the ground, today it is consolidated as one of the most far-reaching film projects in cinema.
Everything owes it in large part to the hands in charge of its production, where most of the successes have been under the tutelage of Kevin Feige. Even so, there are other reasons that contribute to its enormous growth since its inception.
Kevin Feige's vision
In order to carry out each of the adaptations that we have seen so far from Marvel Comics, a proper vision is necessary. This is where Kevin Feige comes in, who has been immersed in MCU productions since 2000.
Certainly, the journey of what would become the MCU began with the appearance of "Iron-Man" as well as "The Incredible Hulk".
After his performance, it was in 2007 that he fully took over the presidency and direction of each of the future UCM films. Also, it should be noted that he had the collaboration of the eternal Stan Lee, who is worth remembering, always made a cameo in superhero movies.
crossover
There is nothing that excites fans more than seeing characters from different movies, or better yet, their favorite superheroes, coming together in one title.
Thus, the beginning of the long road began with "Hulk", which would later continue with "Iron-Man", "Captain America" and "Thor". Each of them were individual films, but they were a preview of what was to come.
However, within the same individual films we already had small cameos of characters from other films, but who belong to the same MCU. The climax came with "The Avengers", which was responsible for bringing together all the aforementioned superheroes to save the world.
Without a doubt, it was a before and after both in superhero movies and in the cinematographic world in general. And it is that, this example would lay the foundations for other companies to launch their cinematographic universes.
The formula kept repeating itself, giving us titles like “Civil War”, “Infinity War” and what is the second highest grossing film in history, “End Game”.
Post credit scenes: never before applied
Every Marvel fan is aware that their movies never end when the credits roll. Indeed, they always give us one more taste of the future through short films or scenes that are characterized by having a cliffhanger effect.
That mode also serves as a way to connect each of the movies, where the characters made appearances in other unrelated titles. Such is the case when Robert Downey Jr, or "Iron-Man," made his post-credits appearance in "The Incredible Hulk."
And it is just one of many examples that have marked that the behavior of the fans is always to wait for the end of the credits.
An amazing cast
Marvel movies have been characterized, in addition to their great special effects, for having endearing characters that have won the hearts of fans. And that, in large part, is thanks to the people who play them.
Stan Lee himself, speaking at the Rhode Island Comic Con event, commented that "Robert Downey Jr was born to play Iron-Man." And it is that, due to his incredible charisma, he has allowed him the privilege of being the favorite character of the UCM fans. So much so, that we still mourn his death in “End Game”.
Likewise, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth are faithful representations of the personalities of the superheroes they play in the comics. One could even say that they have a resemblance.
They are the main examples of a cast that, in addition, has the characteristic of being full of stars. Starting with Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, Tom Holland, and an endless list of great actors who have passed through the MCU.
In what order to watch the Marvel movies?
Even in the middle of 2022, it is unthinkable that there are people who have not seen at least one of the many Marvel productions.
However, it is a long road in which they must follow a certain order to perfectly understand the outcome of each one. In this sense, due to the crossovers, all the films are related, to a lesser or greater extent, but they are.
Therefore, if you want to start in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, here we bring you the order to see the MCU movies.
