"The Book of Boba Fett", the new Disney series that has gone unnoticed
Perhaps because it is the New Year, or because it has not been properly publicized, the truth is that "The Book of Boba Fett", the new Disney plus series has gone unnoticed.
This time around, they bring us another glimpse into the expanse of the Star Wars cinematic universe with a spin-off of The Mandalorian. As the protagonist, we have the great Boba Fett, a renowned bounty hunter from both the series and other presentations in the franchise.
Why watch "The Boba Fett Book"?
Given the great success that The Mandalorian represented on the Disney + streaming platform, they wanted to repeat the formula with a more than similar plot.
And it is that they bring us again a Mandalorian hunter with the difference that he has much more recognition within the Star Wars universe.
It means that Boba Fett is a character that has already made his appearance in other productions of the saga, mainly in The Empire Strikes Back. He is remembered for his ability to capture the great Han Solo and freeze him in carbonite for delivery to Jabba.
However, beyond the emblematic character within all the installments of the franchise, there are other reasons why we must see the history of Boba Fett in detail.
Action
One of the main dishes that the series brings is the great combination of action scenes, which, as could be seen in its first chapter, do not abuse so much of the special effects.
To this is added the moderate use of humor, to the point that it can be considered non-existent. Therefore, it results in a delivery in which the entertainment is assured.
Great production
From the hand of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, Star Wars has had a respite in terms of criticism from its fans.
In this sense, with the production of The Mandalorian and now of "The Book of Boba Fett", we have a totally different look at what was being projected on the big screen. Especially with the last trilogy that gave a lot to talk about.
Basically they are two series that have a totally different style from the traditional films of the franchise. Specifically, although many features of advanced technology are observed, they are still productions in the best western style.
In addition, they bring back concepts such as honor and the solitary struggle of a bounty hunter who at first seems invincible due to the capacity of his skills.
But, as we saw with The Mandalorian, we have to wait for the outcome of the story of a character whose history has not been developed on a large scale as up to now.
Do not let go of nostalgia
For true fans of the great Star Wars franchise, the story of Boba Fett will also be a constant reminder of the most iconic sites of the past sagas.
Nothing is more classic from Star Wars than a bar with live music, or the Gamorrean guards. Even when visiting Jabba's great palace, where Boba Fett delivered Han Solo in carbonite.
For those who are only looking to watch the series for entertainment and have no prior knowledge of the previous sagas, it is still a great option.
But, for the big fans of the franchise, they will find a lot of references allusive to the classics of Star Wars.
The protagonist's commitment
Another strong point in the production of "The Book of Boba Fett" is that they have reused an actor who knows his character thoroughly.
Specifically, we refer to Temuera Morrison, who was commissioned to wear the Mandalorian armor for the first time in the second Star Wars trilogy as Jango Fett.
In other words, he is an actor who previously knows the character and demonstrates it perfectly on the screen, with a temper of steel, in addition to being a man of few words.
Where and when to see the next episodes of "The Book of Boba Fett"?
Currently, the series is on the air, where its first episode was launched last Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
