AMLO continues to attack journalist Carlos Loret and assures that the communicator receives payment from the mafia to attack
Faced with the accusations, the communicator has responded that they put him at risk
During his usual press conference "La Mañanera" on Friday, February 11, the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), assured that the journalist Carlos Loret de Mola receives an annual income of more than 35 million Mexican pesos.
To support these data, the president projected an image where the amounts paid to Loret for his work in media such as El Universal, Latinus, Washington Post, Televisa, among others, were broken down.
Additionally, he pointed out that the communication professional earns much more than him. “(…) It is not a personal matter, I am fine with my conscience, I sleep peacefully, but I represent a process of transformation,” said AMLO.
The communicator, for his part, responded through his Twitter account, pointing out that revealing false and inflated amounts puts him at risk. “It is very serious. It's a crime. This would-be dictator is out of his mind,” Loret said.
On February 14, the head of state took up the issue again and again questioned Loret's income during the press conference. Did the people of Mexico know that this man earns 35 million pesos a year as a journalist? Two million pesos a month. Who wins that? A scientist, an intellectual, the President?
In addition, he added that he does not know why people were so happy about the information he gave about what Loret de Mola earns.
"He who owes nothing fears nothing (...) Imagine how not to make this information known if this gentleman is dedicated to hitting not only the Government, not only the President, but the transformation project that millions of Mexicans are carrying out to end with the main problem of Mexico: corruption,”said AMLO.

Given the violation of the right to personal data protection, provided for in article 16 of the Mexican Constitution of the United Mexican States; Internet users created the hashtag #TodosSomosLoret as a show of support for the journalist.
In this regard, Loret spoke again via Twitter and expressed that the issue became a "red alert" about the democratic collapse that the country has been suffering at the hands of AMLO.
For his part, the President indicated that, although he has no elements to confirm it, he does not doubt that it is a dirty war and that they have bought bots.
Why does President AMLO attack Carlos Loret?
According to the journalist himself, the attack occurs because the Mexican president "has not been able to shake off the scandal of his son's mansions in Houston."
It should be noted that Loret revealed an investigation, in collaboration with Mexicans Against Corruption, where he highlights the luxuries with which the son of President López Obrador, José Ramón López Beltrán, lives.
In the report, mansions in Houston with swimming pools and movie theaters came to light, and even a Mercedes Benz van, within the assets of López Beltrán.
According to official county documents, the residence where AMLO's son and his wife, Carolyn Adams, currently live is in the town of Harris Bennett on the outskirts of Houston.
This would be a two-story property, with five bedrooms and five full bathrooms, on a lot of almost 1,100 square meters; which can reach 19 million pesos.
In addition, the communicator from Tabasco has brought to light reports in which cases of corruption by members of AMLO's government cabinet are uncovered.
