Canada-US border remains closed.

Through a statement issued by the White House, Joe Biden expressed concern about the consequences that companies and workers in the United States are suffering due to the border blockade.

The United States is experiencing a slowdown in production, plant closures and low working hours for employees.

Separately, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau labeled the protest " loud and fringe."

Currently, Trudeau is harshly criticized by the Canadian opposition due to his inaction in the face of the protest that is affecting the Canadian economy.

Days ago a state of emergency would have been declared in Ottawa, but that would have no effect on the anti-vaccine movement that continues to block the bridge that connects the two countries.

The anti-vaccine movement has germinated in other cities around the world, especially in Paris, where yesterday's protest ended with repression and violence.

The Ontario Superior Court issued an evacuation order to protesters blocking the border crossing, but to no avail.

For this reason, for the first time since the protests began, the Ottawa police were deployed in the vicinity of the Ambassador Bridge, which connects Canada with the United States.

This blockade, which affects Canada and the United States, was what motivated Washington to send the statement to the central government of Canada.

In response, Trudeau warned that police repression would increase because it is inadmissible that, after declaring a state of emergency and a court order for evacuation, protesters continue to block the border crossing.
