Carabineros affirm that Catalina Pulido "Cata"'s injuries after arrest were minor
The confusing incident starring Catalina Pulido "Cata" on the way to Farellones continues to be talked about throughout Chile. It was a controversial arrest that motivated her presence on a television program where the well-known actress announced that she had suffered double fractures, dislocation and bruising after the fact.
Cata Pulido spoke on a show business, which she arrived wearing a sling. There he indicated that by medical indication he must rest for 30 days and have his arm immobilized.
His words were clear: "I have a double fracture, one for each part of the elbow and dislocation, plus bruises."
Let us remember that a video has been broadcast where Cata Pulido is seen behaving inappropriately, disrespecting the authority that detained her for not having put on her seat belt. She resisted the infraction and verbally attacked the Carabineros who were intervening.
She stated that Carabineros took her to the Primary Emergency Care Service (SAPU) of the Lo Barnechea commune to verify the injuries. According to his version, this would have been done against his will.
For its part, Carabineros delivered its version of events. The institution told a local radio that they complied with the established protocol and took the actress to verify injuries at the SAPU in Lo Barnechea.
The police institution reported that the doctor on duty at the health center indicated in the first instance that Cata Pulido had minor injuries, in the areas of her elbows and hands. What was done in the health center of the aforementioned commune was duly recorded within the record of the actress's arrest procedure.
Pulido was transferred to the 53rd Lo Barnechea Police Station and then released a few hours later. For now, she is waiting for the summons from the Prosecutor's Office.
Carabineros told the radio station that it cannot comment on the results that the artist would have obtained later in another care center.
