Covid-19: "This may be the last chance to know the true origin of the coronavirus" has stated the WHO
The World Health Organization (WHO) continues to work on its work to find the true origin of the coronavirus. This is how this Wednesday a new group of works could be the last chance they have to find the true origins of COVID-19.
For this, the organization has selected 26 experts who will join the work team, which is known as the Scientific Advisory Group on the Origins of New Pathogens. It should be borne in mind that this virus has already been more than a year and a half since the first case was detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

During the month of February of this year, a WHO team traveled to China to investigate the origins of Covid-19, during their investigation they could not confirm that the second theory was true, so they concluded that the virus probably came from the bats. However, this has not been fully confirmed, so further investigation will be necessary.
On the other hand, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus director general of the World Health Organization, commented after that investigation that the results obtained were not totally clear, as the investigation was hampered by the absence of important data and little transparency on the part of China.

This new group of researchers belonging to Sago have decided to include six more researchers, all of whom traveled to China in the previous team that visited the country in February. Sago is not only on a mission to investigate the coronavirus, but will also do an investigation of the origins of other highly dangerous pathogens.
The director of the WHO Tedros, has assured that being able to discover where the new pathogens come from will be essential to prevent future outbreaks.
Tedros and other WHO authorities have said during an interview for Science magazine that it cannot be ruled out that the coronavirus came out of a laboratory accident. For now, it is not known if it could be an accident or a virus created to get it out to the population.
The executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Program, Michael Ryan, has commented that it was impossible to ignore the obstacles that stand in the way that only seeks to find the truth about the origin of this virus that has claimed the lives of millions of people around the world.

Michael Ryan is completely sure that this new group of experts to be sent to China is a new possibility to learn the truth about COVID-19. "This is an effort to bring back scientific research," he added.
"This is one of our best opportunities, and surely it could also be the last opportunity to know the true origin of the coronavirus in a collective, collegial and mutually responsible way, so we hope that this group returns with the truth." I add the director of the Emergency Health Program.
The news of the new group that will travel to Asia comes after a news network reported that China is preparing to carry out the analysis of thousands of blood bank samples taken during the first months of the pandemic.
On the other hand, Chen Xu, China's ambassador to the UN in Geneva, called for the Sago group's work not to be politicized. He also asked that these work teams be sent to other places.
It is expected that in the coming weeks or months the origin of the Chinese virus as many have dubbed it can really be known.
