Queen Elizabeth II was infected with covid last Sunday.

This Tuesday Buckingham Palace reported that Queen Elizabeth II suspended her commitments for that day because she still has mild symptoms of covid-19.

Last Sunday the palace reported that the monarch had contracted covid. However, regarding the events scheduled for Tuesday, he reported:

"As Her Majesty is still experiencing mild cold-like symptoms, she has decided not to undertake her planned virtual engagements today, but will continue with light duties."

In the same way, a source close to the palace reported that regarding the other commitments scheduled for the week, it will be evaluated whether they will be carried out or not, but it will be reported closer to their date.

It should be noted that Queen Elizabeth II, as well as her late husband, Prince Philip, were vaccinated in January 2021, in this case the first dose. However, information about the following doses has been withheld, claiming that it is confidential medical information.
